The 32 blessed people we lost on Monday had so much potential to enrich the world through the work they were preparing to do. In lieu of flowers, Austin's mother and I hope that people will consider making a contribution to Appalachia Service Project (asphome.org). ASP had an enormously positive influence on Austin's world view and it does wonderful work for people in Appalachia. We hope that her dreams of a better world might be realized, in part, through this organization.
